ATMOSPHERE is the third in Perini Navi’s 52/53-metre series; sister ship
to the award-winners LIBERTY and INDEPENDENCE. This series is designed
to maximise the use of space, twinned with improved stability and high
performance. The hull volume has been optimised, greatly expanding the
guest accommodations for up to twelve guests. She is neither a speedy
motor yacht nor a nimble racer/cruiser but everything in between; her
powerful ketch rig and low-profiled superstructure delivering an
impressive 15.5 knots in ideal sailing conditions. Her interior is designed for familiarity and warmth, with comfortable couches and chairs, russet-toned fabrics with highlights of orange and gold, and elegant cherry-wood joinery. For business occasions the dining area converts to a conference room with full audiovisual facilities. large oval port lights flood the accommodation with an abundance of natural light and give rare outdoor views, but can also be closed at the flick of a switch for privacy. The main saloon has a living area with writing desk, twin seating and a dining area, and steps lead down to the lower deck and the guests quarters and the wheelhouse is located forward. The lower deck has a rare feature; a sauna and separate Turkish bath located adjacent to the lazarette. Her magnificent aft cockpit - a trademark of Perini, has well laid out dining and living spaces, a day head, and access to the lazarette, the main saloon and the fly bridge. The fly bridge features a Jacuzzi dip pool, large sunbathing area, a dining/games table, seating area and a retractable shade extending as far forward as the double helm. The foredeck, with an elegant awning for shade, provides guests with a delightful alternative area for sunning and relaxation. A yacht which exudes enormous sophistication and whose layout is considered state of the art for yachts in the class, ATMOSPHERE presents a unique and exciting opportunity for charter. Based in Grenada for the winter 2003/04 season and available for charter throughout the Caribbean. |
